The Challenge:

The 2 Johnnies Podcast wanted to create a memorable and effective way to engage fans while promoting their upcoming live event, Pints in a Field 3 at St. Anne’s Park on June 7th, 2025. They needed a solution that not only captured audience interest but also converted that interest into potential ticket and merch sales at future events.

Solution: CrowdPage Contest

Using CrowdPages, we developed a seamless engagement and ticketing funnel:

  • Interactive QR Code Campaign: Fans at events and online were invited to scan a QR code, leading them to a dedicated contest page.
  • Contest Call-to-Action:  Visitors were encouraged to sign up for the mailing list to stay updated on all things The 2 Johnnies. As an incentive, they were automatically entered into a draw for a VIP trip for two to the Pints in a Field 3 event.
  • Redirect to Ticketing Page:  After submitting their email, participants were redirected to the ticketing page to purchase tickets for future shows, creating a smooth transition from engagement to sales.

Results:

The campaign exceeded expectations:

  • High Engagement Rate: Over 56% of participants who scanned the QR code submitted their email for future communications
  • Increased Mailing List Growth:  The contest successfully grew The 2 Johnnies Podcast mailing list by 1583 leads, providing a valuable channel for ongoing fan engagement.
  • Boosted Ticket Awareness:   By redirecting participants to the ticketing page, the campaign created awareness and momentum for future ticket sales.
