CrowdSync made history at the highly anticipated LSU vs. Ole Miss game by providing 100,000 LED wristbands to illuminate Tiger Stadium in celebration of the venue’s 100th anniversary. This unprecedented activation marked the largest deployment of LED wristbands ever by CrowdSync, bringing fans together for an unforgettable, immersive experience.
The LED wristbands, sponsored by Our Lady of the Lake Health, were distributed to every fan in the lower bowl, suites, and club seating areas, with additional wristbands available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the upper decks. Over multiple days, LSU’s dedicated Athletics and Operations team ensured each wristband was strategically placed so that every fan could take part in the celebration.
Throughout the game, the LED wristbands were synchronized with Tiger Stadium’s state-of-the-art lighting system to create a choreographed light show. Highlights included the band’s halftime performance and the fan-favorite “Callin’ Baton Rouge,” which kicked off the fourth quarter. The wristbands enhanced the electric atmosphere of this Top-10 SEC matchup, making fans an integral part of the experience.

In addition to the light show, the night’s festivities honored 100 years of Tiger Stadium with special pregame ceremonies, featuring nearly 150 former players across eight decades, and a halftime salute by the LSU band. The end zones were also painted with a commemorative design, and players wore special helmet decals to mark the occasion. This monumental game, which was the first Top-10 matchup in Death Valley since 2019, not only showcased LSU’s football legacy but also pushed the boundaries of what fan engagement can look like with the integration of wearable LED technology.
